We’ll use the U$D20,000 funds to continue with our research and conservation projects. Since 2017, thanks to the amazing support of our community, we:
- Planted over 9,200 sloth-friendly trees to restore habitats in urbanized areas.
- Installed over 320 Sloth Crossings, creating the largest grid of canopy bridges in the world, used daily by sloths, monkeys, kinkajous, and many other arboreal animals.
- Spayed and neutered over 740 rescued dogs to reduce the number of dog attacks on sloths and wildlife.
- Published 9 scientific papers, providing critical knowledge to develop better conservation strategies.
- Helped create a 49-acre reserve of primary forest in the South Caribbean of Costa Rica.
