April 16 – Wear your pajamas to work day

It’s officially Wear Your Pajamas To Work Day! If sloths wore pajamas they would never take them off

With the ongoing quarantine restrictions in many countries there is quite a high chance that you have been living in your pajamas every day for the last few weeks anyway. But today you don’t need to feel guilty about it!

April 17 – Haiku Poetry day

Continuing with our creative theme for this week – today is Haiku Poetry Day and we have a challenge for you! Create your own SLOTH haiku and post it in the comments
Reminder (in case you have forgotten since high school): a haiku is a style of Japanese poetry that consists of 3 lines. The first and third lines must have 5 syllables, and the second line needs to have 7 syllables.
Parents: this is a great home-school activity for your kids! #Haiku

April 22- Earth Day

This day marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and the theme this year is climate action

New data collected by a satellite shows the effect that the ongoing pandemic is having on air pollution over Europe. These before / after shots show us a silver lining to the lock-down measures.

It will be interesting to see how life resumes after the global lock-down ends. Will we come out of this more caring and compassionate towards the planet and others? What do you think?
